They took the no-bounce suspension system of the LF 2L and made it lighter. Comes with a 500mL locking cap flask. Patent pending.

Suspension System: A no bounce experience
The UL 1L features an internal cord system that puts tension across the material in the back and makes it so the contents of the back pocket do not bounce.
Materials: Breathable DotAir
The UL 1L uses a 70d stretch woven DotAir which is the most durable way to add breathability to a woven fabric.
Belt Structure: Support + insulation
The UL 1L features 2mm of foam against the back and 4 flexible plastic stays. This structure keeps the belt close to your body instead of rounding away from your back like other belts. The foam, which is perforated for breathability, also insulates your bottle from your body heat, keeping your liquids cooler for longer.
Internal Pockets: Organize your gear where you want it
The UL 1L has 3 interior pockets and 6 pockets total for organization. 2 pockets in the front for gels, trash, headphones, etc and one zippered pocket inside the back pocket. They believe the main pockets (front + back) should be large for the ultimate flexibility. For a bit of external organization they also added 2 external small pockets.
Organization: Continuous pocket for flex storage
They believe instead of many small pockets 2 main large pockets gives the ultimate flexibility. The outer pockets are split into the front and back. The front has 2 access points, and the back has one access point and spans the entire length between the dark black seams.
Pole + Axe Carry: Secure and adjustable carry
2.5mm elastic cord with a cord lock, plus a snap closure for ice axe carry.
Anatomical Fit: Tapered shape for all body types
The top circumference of the belt is 4" smaller than the bottom circumference, delivering an anatomical fit for a variety of body types. The tightening system also delivers a performance feel if you need to size up.
