Sockdolager Ultralight Pogies

These pogies shave weight by eliminating the velcro flaps and bulky neoprene used on regular kayak pogies. These are designed specifically for breakdown paddles, and only can be fitted to the paddle when the blades have been removed. The opening in the pogies matches the paddle diameter very tightly and makes for a tighter fit. It also means less interior seams that can beat up your hands on a cold and wet day on the river.

While these are non-insulated, they have found them to work extremely well because they prevent water exchange and nearly eliminate evaporative cooling. Designed to work on Aqua Bound Shred and Werner Powerhouse and Sherpa breakdown paddles with standard shaft diameters. Can also work on Aqua Bound posilok shafts, but the pogies have to be slid on from the non-posilok side. Not compatible with a posilok 2 piece paddle
