The Forty Below® Bottle Boot™ 48 oz. size is an insulating cover that fits primarily fits the Nalgene 48 oz. tall water bottle, and also some metal double walled and vacuum style (thermos) metal bottles. Bottle Boots™ are insulating water bottle covers that help slow down the water from freezing quickly, especially in extreme cold environments.
Forty Below® Bottle Boots™ have been used on trips and expeditions worldwide for over 40 years! This insulated bottle cover is a unique design that enables the user to easily use them with mittens or gloves, allowing easy access to the bottle, with no zippers to break or freeze. The closed cell insulation does not absorb water, is 6.5mm thick completely around, on top, and bottom of the bottle for maximum coverage and insulation.
