It features all the technology of the ‘adult’ Backland Summit binding, but in a lighter weight, easier to use package. The Release Value Adjustment offers release values up to 5 for trustworthy operation, superior safety, and performance. The Patented Step-in Aid with an integrated toe bar guides the boot perfectly into alignment. AutoFlex System features a spring in the heel mechanism that automatically provides 5mm of travel between the toe and heel during the arc of a turn. The result is an easy-to-use binding that provides elasticity to support the natural ski flex and further enhances safety, absorption, and performance. A Climbing Aid adjusts from 0° to 7° with a simple flick of ski pole and touring brakes feature a unique lock system that switches easily from hike to ski mode. Featuring an Alu/PA Pin Toe and Heel, the high-performance PA material is reinforced with fiberglass to keep it light, easy, and accessible.
