The ULTRA35 is a light-weight choice without compromising on performance. Both minimalist and innovative, like the ULTRA range, it features a waterproof Dyneema® construction to withstand the most demanding conditions. Thanks to the modularity of its accessories, the ULTRA35 can be customized according to your needs so that you can carry only the equipment you need: skis, snowboard, ice axes, helmet, etc. Made from bio-sourced Dyneema®, this bag is the perfect demonstration of Samaya 's commitment to combining durability and high performance.
The ULTRA35 is a dedicated mountaineering backpack developed with our mountain guide athletes. It is the lightest mountaineering backpack in its class. Its accessorization, waterproofing and durability make it the ideal partner for your mountain tours. The ULTRA35 will accompany you on day trips and multi-day expeditions. Its volume of 35 + 5 litres allows you to leave with all your bivouac equipment while keeping a perfect mobility during your most technical gestures.
The ULTRA35 adapts to all your needs. All the accessories (ice axe holders, helmet holders, ski racks, belts, etc.) are removable. This means that you can prepare your ULTRA35 for your activities from its minimalist weight of 495 grams.
The specific technique of combining Dyneema® and polyester (150D) on the body of the ULTRA35 is the reason for its exceptional abrasion resistance and unprecedented waterproofing. On its base, the ULTRA35 is made of a material specifically developed by Samaya engineers: directly woven Dyneema® 300D fibers provide abrasion and tear resistance so you don't have to worry about anything.
Most of the carrying is done by the shoulders, with a load pick-up and double support at the waist and chest. This way, you become one with your ULTRA35 and have quick and efficient access to all your equipment and your harness. The shoulder straps of the ULTRA35 are made of closed cell foam to give you maximum comfort when loaded.

The combination of Dyneema® Composite Fabric with Woven Polyester (150D) was chosen by Samaya for the Samaya ULTRA35 because of its exceptional properties. The material formed by lamination provides a high level of waterproofing (20,000 mm) for a minimal weight. On the outside, the Woven Polyester provides incomparable resistance to abrasion and protects the Samaya ULTRA35 from all external elements. On the inside, the Dyneema® Composite Fabric guarantees waterproofness. Finally, the rigidity of this material allows a better hold and an ease of use whatever the level of filling of the bag.
A piece of Dyneema® fiber fabric was added to reinforce the lower part of the bag, which is the most exposed. 300D yarns have been woven to create a material that is durably resistant to all the stresses you may encounter (abrasion, tearing, puncturing). The Dyneema® fiber expresses its full potential on the Samaya ULTRA35.
