| Shares the base, cut (almost) and Beta Construction with the Beta Race Skate. A great value in an entry level racing ski. Rather than the Nomex foam core the ATC Beta Skate has an acrylic core. This makes the ski 90 grams/ski heavier but lighter than most in this category. Has the same high end base as the Beta Race Skate. A very good deal for the citizen racer or anyone looking for a price point ski. Be sure to compare weights with other skis. While lighter and arguably better this ski is probably not the durable workhorse of the SCS or the TrH. |
