rails allow for essentially no lateral movement of a boot. It also has the additional
safety factor of having releasable toe and heel pieces. Two things keep skiers
away; price and weight. At 3 lb 9 oz AT skiers laugh but they do weigh about
1.5 pound more than most tele bindings with a riser. At $332.5 they are considerably
more expensive but given the increased control and safety we are all for them. |
