Our choice for an approach binding. It will ski fine but our bigger stronger skiers can easily release the heal. It does not have a realeasable toe. Unlike the Diamer, this binding will fit leather climbing boots, plastic mountaineering boots as well as almost all AT boots. If you go to climb this is the way to go.
