| Not a vertical ice crampon for sure but we have done some pretty hard routes in the mountains in this crampon. Steve House used this for the third ascent of the Czhec Direct on Denali. If we could have only one crampon for everything this would be it. If you spend a lot more time on vertical ice than in the mountains get a different crampon. The sturdiest general mountaineering crampon every made. |
