| We can not lie. This is not our favorite crampon. In the hard ice of Alaska the secondary front points in the Mako's trident arrangement push out the front point when twisting the foot. So why do we carry it? Some climbers every bit as good as us like it a lot. They sell and they are very well made. We have used the Mako's first generation cousin guiding on Denali with good luck. |
