the Arctis Expe the Para shell is of dual composition with the upper shell much
softer than the lower. This is the closest in performance to a leather boot
we have ever seen. The inner boot of the Para is not nearly as warm as the Arctis
Expe, but performs more like a leather climbing boot. The late great ice climber
Steve Garvey chose this boot for its performance. A good consideration for an
entry level ice or mountaineering boot the inner boot can be upgraded, with
some modification, to either the Arctis Expe liner or the more durable but less
warm Vertical Liner. Fits medium but the shell can be stretched if necessary. |
